![]() ![]() The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) defines 'small' as under 300 MWe, and up to about 700 MWe as 'medium' – including many operational units from the 20th century. At the same time there have been many hundreds of smaller power reactors built for naval use (up to 190 MW thermal) and as neutron sources a, yielding enormous expertise in the engineering of small power units and accumulating over 12,000 reactor years of experience. The technologies involved are numerous and very diverse.Īs nuclear power generation has become established since the 1950s, the size of reactor units has grown from 60 MWe to more than 1600 MWe, with corresponding economies of scale in operation. This interest in small and medium nuclear power reactors is driven both by a desire to reduce the impact of capital costs and to provide power away from large grid systems. There is strong interest in small and simpler units for generating electricity from nuclear power, and for process heat.and even when you get that special upgrade, then you might get one you literary dont need. Like this i have radar upgrades, plane spotter upgrades, longer AA upgrades but not ones what i really need.Īlso in SC you can get many more items, so % of getting upgrade (as much as it seems now) is not THAT high. Wouldnt it be REAL SUPER UPGRADE and special, if you were able to choose what you need and instantly put on some ship. To put in short, what I have from "plane spotter upgrade" if I dont play BBs? We are all rats in a cage, here!įlags should remain random, so you dont know what you get.īut these upgrades are different story, you can not demount them for free, you can't use them on every class etc. It goes against the whole random drop formula, that is part and parcel of the intermittent reward principle. To put it bluntly: I seriously doubt that such a "choice" option will ever be introduced. For that matter, I wouldn't mind being able to choose what sort of flags I get, as well. It would indeed be nice to be able to choose which special module you get. ![]()
